In Matthew 25:31-46, Jesus tells the sheep to come inherit the Kingdom for you fed me, gave me drink, visited me, and welcomed me. When they wonder when they did those things, he indicates, when you did it to the least of these, you did it to me. This week, let’s be the true body of Christ.
Be the eyes of Jesus and instruct others. Psalms 32:8: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”
Be the ears of Jesus and listen to the cry of others. Psalms 34:15: “The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.”
Be the smile of the Lord to others. Numbers 6:24-25: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;”
Be the arms of Jesus and reach out to his children. Mark 10:16: “And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”
Be the hands of Jesus and visit the sick. Luke 4:40: “At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.”
Be the feet of Jesus by sharing the gospel. Romans 10:15: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
Luke 6:40: “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.” Let’s be more like Jesus.
