If I Had a Do Over

If I Had a Do Over

Have you ever thought about the time that you have wasted? In Ecclesiates chapter 3, Solomon said everything has its time. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under Heaven.”

Some ways in which we use our time may have little lasting value. But the things we do for the Lord and His kingdom will have an everlasting effect on us and the Kingdom and future generations.

Do you remember Esther and Mordecai’s circumstance in the book of Esther. Esther was in a position to help the Jews as well as Mordecai. If Esther had remained silent, God would have used someone else to carry out His will. “FOR A TIME SUCH AS THIS.” We all know the story and how it turned out in the end. Esther rose to the occasion at the right time.

We as Christians and followers of Christ, have a responsibility to serve our King (Jesus). We have so many opportunities to serve our Lord and local outreach opportunities. There are also opportunities within our Church family such as: CREW (young adults), IT/TECH, mission center point, and educational involvement just to name a few. I urge you to look for ways to be involved, plug yourself in to a work in order to bring glory to God. Find your niche and use your God given talents to reach and change the lost in our community.

May I challenge each and every one of us to consider Philippians 2:5: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation taking the form of a bondservant and coming in the likeness of men.” Let us redeem time wisely, fully use our talents, and serve God as well as one another.

For after all you may be here for such a time as this…
